It is a very good fit for the needs of Lasso with respect to managing preferences, security settings, sessions, e-mail queues, and more.

Upgrades
The upgrade procedure from any prior version of Lasso to Lasso 8 or higher will require that users download and install MySQL in order to host any user-defined databases for Lasso MySQL. The Lasso Settings Migrator included in Lasso's download package will help facilitate this migration.
