Lasso Studio:Eclipse maximizes developer efficiency and reduces errors by providing an integrated toolkit for producing Lasso-based applications, including a powerful debugger.

Combined with the extensibility of the Eclipse IDE, Lasso Studio:Eclipse is the ultimate custom development environment for intermediate to advanced Lasso coders on any platform.

Product Features

Syntax Checking

Each time a Lasso file is saved, it is checked for syntax errors. Each error is flagged in the source, and the complete error message is listed in the Problems View.
Debugging

The debugger allows you to simulate HTTP requests and step through the processing of a file line-by-line, or skip to developer-specified breakpoints, inspecting and/or modifying variables and other values at any point in the run.
Syntax Coloring

Highly customizable syntax coloring lets you scan source code quickly and catch common errors like mismatched quotes. You can specify colors for tags, keywords, numbers, strings, comments, variables, and operators.
Code Completion

Using the built-in language reference, Lasso Studio:Aptana automatically completes tag names and displays and/or includes sample syntax and information. Custom tags and variables are also available for completion.
Development Server

A single-user edition of Lasso Server is included for full-featured testing and development on your local workstation.
Code Outlining

The Outline View breaks your pages down into structural components, providing a quick way to navigate among them. You can choose which types of containers to include in the outline, including conditionals, various types of loops, definitions, and more.
Code Folding

Containers can be collapsed within the editor window allowing you to temporarily hide portions of code.
Code Templates

Templates make it easy to reuse common bits of code and define insertion points for the areas which require per-usage customization. Choose from an assortment of predefined templates or create your own.
Code Formatting

Lasso Studio:Aptana can reformat old code with a single command, converting square bracket code to script and colon syntax to parentheses syntax.
