LassoSoft's mission is to support, promote and evangelize the Lasso programming language in such a way that Lasso significantly grows and develops.
Goals
At the moment, Lasso is recognized as one of the top 100 most popular programming languages in the world (not just among web languages, but all languages). Our currently stated goals include;
- to become one of the top 50 most popular languages by 2013
- to have 1000 active Certified Lasso Developers by 2015
- to have sustainable and strong revenue to support meaningful ongoing development by 2012
- to grow and promote the developer community as much as possible by doubling community involvement metrics
- to create a fundamentally secure, fast, easy to use, stable and scaleable mechanism for building websites with testable performance indicators
- to seek out and pursue remarkable innovations to stimulate and drive the internet world
